I finished building the timber frame of my new greenhouse yesterday, it wasn't a bad day in Dublin if you were moving. However I could go no further with the project, I couldn’t put the wood preservative on or cut the corrugated PVC sheets as it was below the minimum 5.degC recommended.
So I decided to plant my first early potatoes in spite of the cold, I am now two weeks late planting these. To my amazement the sun is cracking the stones this morning and it s over 6.deg.C and it not noon yet.
On with the wood preservative I say.
Summer is here, don’t look back.

I took last week off and almost finished the job.
Things left to do:-
- Fill beds.
- Cable & socket for heater.
- Automatic side vents.
I moved a few trays out but not the Tomatoes, Peppers, Courgettes, Basil, etc.
