This year my roses have been fantastic. I seem to have bloom after bloom on all my rose bushes.
My favourite is Deep Secret and the perfume from that is wonderful, it is beside my front door, ( a moving in present from my Mother 15 years ago), and it is fantastic. Everytime some one comes to the hall door or if I open the door the perfume wafts in.
I got a present of a patio rose and I have one I bought in Aldi and they just keep on blooming. My house is full of vases of roses this year, I did nothing different, but they are the best ever.
Any rose expert know if it is the weather or what that made them grow so well. |

It's hard to know Maeve. Myself I have been plagued by mildew on my roses due to all the moisture. I may need to thin them out to let them air out a bit I guess. Did you do anything different with your roses this year or perhaps they have just got fully settled in within the garden and decided to reward you. _________________ 'Unemployment is capitalisms way of getting you to plant a garden'.

Hi Cooler,
I did nothing to my roses this year, except dead head frequently. For the past few years I have pruned them back very hard. But isn't that the way with gardening, thing start to bloom wonderfully when you least expect it.
I have fallen in love with my roses all over again. |

Almost all roses grow very best 100 % sunshine having damp, well-drained soil that is certainly abundant in natural make any difference. Make sure ones roses reach minimum 6-8 hours of strong sunshine every day; if they get much less lighting, the actual facilities will not full bloom likewise and you will be additional subject to episode coming from unwanted pests and illnesses. _________________ How to make collage picture |
