Hi Guys. I have a problem, and i am hoping, that maybe somebody here, might help me out on this. Although it's not directly Garden related, but to a point, it is to me.
I was give those 2 Lion Head's, (see pic) And as i have a Shed, at the bottom of the Garden, i was hoping to stick then on to the front of the Plastered Wall. Those are made of Sand & Cement and pretty heavy, could be near a Stone in weight each. Maybe it's not possible. Or could anyone here, have some plan as how to fix those to the Plastered Wall. Many Thanks.

They're pretty impressive!
I don't know the correct procedure to fix them on but if they were mine, I'd certainly find a way. Have they plain backs? Is there a piece of iron or anything else on the back?

Hi Summer. There are 2 options open to you, 1st,you can drill 4 holes in a suitable place around the Lions Face ( IE.where the Mane joins the Face) slightly countersinking the holes for the screw heads, when its in position fill the holes with any exterior Filler.being close to the Mane the Filler will not be noticeable. 2nd.you can gouge a large Hole in the back of the Head and insert a "U"shaped wire (make sure the ends of the wire are ragged IE twisted and bent to get a good grip) then purchase a Tube of Instant Cement your local Builders Providers will know what your looking for.
My first choice would be the Screws but remember not to overtighten them. and if you decide that you dont want to go through all that hassle I'll give them a good home here in Sligo, dont forget Photos of the finished Job please
Dave.

Hi Geranimojess. Thanks a million for your options, in how to set those up, your plans are spot on. I will more than likely go with what you have said, and use the four Screws, ''great idea''. Many thanks again. Yes, i will put up a photo, when finished.

Hi Geranimojess. Well at last i got around to putting up the Lions Heads, yea should have it done ages ago, but anyway had a go at it today, and their up now (see pics). What i did was, drilled the Lions Head from the back, in about 3ins at an angle, and drilled the Wall also at the same angle. and used these Pins (see pic) to hang the Lions Head on. Then used white silicone around the edges to hold them in place. They seem to be solid in that position. Guys Many thanks for all you help.
