have 2 goji plants 5ft high approx 4 years old
have yet to flower ?

In relation to the Goji plants "Hueston we have a problem"
Ive never grown them but they are a chinese plant and are vigerous growers but set flower with dificulty. I believe there are two types one with longer "needle" like leaves which is more hardy but you cannot eat the leaves, the other with "oblong leaves" where you can eat the leaves, but less resistant to disease. you colud try growing it in a geeenhouse or polytunnel. They grow in quiet poor soil with low fertility.
I have done a serch for info on them an have found nothing positive as everyone seems to have difficulty growing them, Most suggest you go to a chinese shop for fruit. sorry I can be of more help. |

maybe start a new thread on this but if you go to top of the irishgardeners.com page type in Goji berries and search there are 2 pages relating to these plants. |
