Hi,
First off I'm a novice gardener and this is my 1st posting on this site....
In May this year I planted Bellis seeds in pots and let them germinate and grow on outdoors in a semi-shade position. Recently I have noticed they are starting to bloom, which is a surprise considering they are expected to first bloom next spring. So is this normal for such a perennial and will I still get blooms in spring '08? |

Are you sure it is Bellis perennis, the biennial daisy, growing one year and flowering the next. The seeds may actually be the annual daisy, Bellis annua
Bellis = pretty (Latin);
annua = annual, lives for one year, flowers in one year.
What are the flowers like? |
