Hi Pondigger, I also have one of the above, 1000ltrs. I use it to water my tunnel with the aid of an electric pump. this may not apply to you pondigger, but I have a filter sitting in the hole on top where the water goes in as I found no matter you try to stop moss, leaves, ect from going down the drainpipe from the roof, it certainly will when your cleaning the gutters. Also if your running any length of pipe horrizontly to the tank maybe you consider putting in a cleaning trap. When you se what the filter catches {You need to chek it regulary} it might save you trying to unblock a full tank, in this green and WET beautiful country you certainly won"t have any problem filling it. Lots of luck.

Why did you put the tank inside the garage ?
Do you not need the space for more important things ?

Good setup, pondigger, I"d be inclind to keep an eye on it during very heavy rain to check the overflow is big enough to keep up with it.

Hi P, I don"t know what type it is (its enclosed) it just has an inlet pipe and outlet and its worked off a 110 transformer. I pump from the IBC to a 280ltr stainless tank (yea, posh!) where I mix it with a concentrated mix of henshit and nettles, which I leave soaking in a barrel for about 2 months. this is used to water the tunnel. So far, 6yrs, worked well. great tomatoes and cucumbers. Have to add and change soil ect. sorry, I"m rambling, everything disconected at the moment, reconnect again around march. As for photos! I"m about as useful as an ashtray on a moterbike when it comes to computers! I"m sure any plumber would advise on pump.
