That is really beautiful......but how do people prune these wisterias....don't they need specific pruning to make them bloom ?
A tall ladder I suppose. |

Sive,
There was a long old fashioned ladder leaning up against the building when I saw it first and I asked the man to remove it so that I could take a photo. The man with the white van would not move despite my pleas!!
It was truly spectacular in reality. |

Cut the van out using Photoshop.... Saves any arguments asking people to do things...You could also balance the dark/light too that the sunshine has caused.. Beautiful specimen..... _________________ if you are interested in raised vegetable beds and veggie growing I have a new website - raisedbeds.net We're busy on social networking too and have over 12,000 members in the group. |

I've just been in touch with a Photoshop whizz friend of mine...He says if you post the full sized image to me he will work on the pic to get the van out of the way and balance the colour...
If you post it to me at info@gardening (.ie) we'll do a "Before and After" _________________ if you are interested in raised vegetable beds and veggie growing I have a new website - raisedbeds.net We're busy on social networking too and have over 12,000 members in the group. |

This was on Gardener,s World last week - remember 6 and 2. The new growth is cut back to 6 buds from it's stem at this time of year (July) and then in february cut again to 2 buds from the stem. This apparently makes them flower more prolifically. _________________ Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: They are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust |
