I transplanted a 6 ft Rosemary bush in late March this year, bedded it in well and have been watering every day. The tips of the branches are still nice and green but the rest of the plant looks dead. Should I cut it back while I still have 8-10 weeks of decent weather or leave it alone til next year? I really don't know what is best to do. If anyone can help me out I would be most grateful. |

If I was you I would take cuttings whilst you can. A 6ft bush is a big thing to transplant. |

Thanks Margo, If I take cuttings, do you know if I can root them to get a new plant? |

I've found the best way is to take cuttings with a heel. I also scratch my cuttings and dip them hormone growing powder/gel and pot up in compost. |
