There's no doubt about the end result using Sleepers, but at 25Euro each you'd want a hefty Bank Balance to do even the smallest Garden. My Friend in Indianna USA offered me a Container load ( for cost of Transport) such is the value they put on them, they are literally tripping over them at the sides of Railway Tracks, after replacing them they are left to rot.

Got 17 railway sleepers for nothing as a girl I know said they were smelly things in the back garden of the house she's just bought.
They're heavy things to move when they're sodden wet, though.
Stuck a few up in our front garden.
Anyone got any pics of what they've done with sleepers in their garden? _________________ .
