| I am a Dublin girl, at the moment my gardening is limited to growing plants and vegetables in containers on my small patio which I am thoroughly enjoying. I would love to be gardening full time but am not sure where to start looking for a job. I am interested in Organic vegetable growing and have a bit of experience with Biodynamics. I am interested in garden design and being a sculptor am interested in outdoor sculpture and water features etc. I would be grateful for any advice. |

Medicinebear,
depending on how much free time you have. You should try and contact some of the designers at Bloom in the park and offer some help. You might not get paid but it could be a useful experience and a place to make contacts. The show is coming up at the beginning of June.
From a non gardener what is Biodynamics............. how they grow/develop?
You might also get some information from http://www.glda.ie/
You could also have a look at the water features used here for areas with limited spaces for ideas, they are quite uniform in shape and as a sculptor you might be interested in more organic shapes (excuse the pun)

Hi medicinebear
If you're interested in organic gardening this is a link to courses run by The Organic Centre in Leitrim www.theorganiccentre.ie/courses.html
Don't know if it wil be of help, but might give you an idea of what they have on offer _________________ Irish wildflowers |
