I received some bare root roses during the last week of november but have held off planting due to snowy weather.
I had to bite the bullet and pot them in the shed as I couldn't leave longer than a week.
My question regards the lenght of time I can leave them potted before planting out. I thought maybe February? They are ramblers and quite hardy looking

To update this, looking at another post on this site I've realised that what I've done is to heel-in the plants. I have not used standard pots but loosely packed the plants with topsoil and compost and watered well.
I also soaked them overnight in water.
So I guess from what I've gathered here that I can plant out at any time over the next month or so, once the weather has improved. |

Thanks for the advice. It's good to know that I can plant these as late as that. I will get them in asap |
