actually enquiring for my sister. she has a fabulous clematis, i hink its nelly moser. it is growing up and over an arch in her garden and flowers in abundance in the summer but then prior to and after flowering, it is very dead looking. is there any climber she could plant with it to compliment it nad that will flower when the clematis isnt in bloom.

I think a repeat-flowering climbing rose would work well with a clematis, a bit of research will turn up the right variety. |
