I've been away for a few days, and now there are caterpillars all over my broccoli leaves and cabbage. I've been trying to stay away from chemicals if I can, so does anyone have any suggestions to get rid of these critters!! |

Pick them off and net them!
I got an attack of sawfly on my gooseberries recently and spent 1.5hrs picking/mashing the caterpillar buggers. |

Companion planting is good. Try planting celery around it and some herbs like oregano, thyme and mint especially can be a winner. The smell keeps the pests away. Worth doing a little research on this. Its nice to have a range of plants together too.... |
