My flowering cherry tree's graft section (scoin) died last year, and all i'm left with is the rootstock.. which is still quite healthy.
I was going to remove the tree, but somebody told me to re graft. so i'm going to attempt this. Would any type of flowering ornamental cherry attachment slip be suitable?, and is the success rate good?
Any help would be great.
Thanks Mark |

too late for grafting now . Budding is more suitable for this time of year. Take a young developing growth bud from a cherry tree half inch long and remove the central woody portion. insert this into a t-shaped cut in the rootstock and wrap round with tape. Any good book on grafting will explain better in pictures.
