Hi, I have some strawberry plants that I bought in B&Q, called cambridge variety I think, I've put them in pots in a sunny spot in the garden, but I've noticed the edges of the leaves have turned brown.
I've attached a picture, sorry for the poor quality, but the best I could do with my phone.
Any idea what is causing this and how I could make them a bit happier?

i have exactly the same variety and all!!! That happened to mine aswell It is caused by over watering I think. It doesnt matter anyway as the only disadvantage is making the plant look bad! I normally just cut back on the watering and cut off leaves that are brown - be careful doing this as plants need leaves for photosynthesis. Be sure to leave a good lot of leaves. So far anyway I have got a couple of strawberries and 4 runners from the plant!! Good luck ----

Thanks, they seem to be doing okay anyway, the first lot of flowers appeared this morning. But thanks for the advice, I'll hold back on the watering a bit
