I am looking for a bit of help with designing my garden, I have attached a few photos and hope that someone will come up with some ideas to give me a bit of inspiration!
The plan is to get ideas and then do them a bit at a time and gradually build up the garden.
We are based in the midlands and have poor quality, wet soil, with the house facing south.
We have made a start on privacy and colour by planting trees (lime, rowan, walnut & euclayptus) in a banked area with stones and sleepers and also honeysuckle on the plain end wall on trellis. This also defeats the slight slope and adds some needed dryness to the garden.
The garden is about 35m long and about 15m wide at the widest point.
Some of the things that would appeal are:
Low/Medium maintenance
Privacy
A water feature of some form
Outdoor seating
Patio/Decking area with a BQQ area or even a built in BBQ if it fits a style
A secret garden area off the sunroom with seating as this is a suntrap and would like to be able to view colours and birds from the sunroom
A small bit of lawn - was thinking bought in turf as the soil and grass is very poor and weedy
Hide the base of shed and hide the functional part of the garden dog/clothes line boiler etc. The shed is on a slope so would need a ramp or something so the lawnmower can wheel into it.
Thanks in advance!!!!

I can understand you need for privacy, but by the looks of things your trees will eventually block sunlight from adjoining houses....just be thoughtful......you can achieve privacy with small birches, rowans etc...but eucalyptus can grow into monster-sized trees very very quickly and won't even lose their leaves to give your neighbours the chance of some winter sunshine.
Everyone needs light and sunlight, so think about your plans now.....you won't enjoy your garden if it becomes a source of friction with neighbours.

Thanks for the replies guys!
Interesting thought sive - unfortunately the euclyptus is already planted. There is nobody in the house behind it at the minute. We will jut have to keep it trimed!
Will hae a look at water features thanks ponddigger
