Hi,
I wonder how long does it take peppers to germinate? I sowed them nearly three weeks ago along with all my other seeds ( tomatoe, lettuce, courgette, pumpkin, leeks, basil etc). Everything else germinated well but no sign of peppers. I have them in a dark boiler room with the temp. maintained between 18 and 20 degrees.
would love advice
Thanks

I planted mine about the same time, I put them in a windowsill rather that a dark area and they have germinated. They may be different peppers but mine just said out of direct sunshine not in the dark. Hope they germinate for you soon. _________________ Please excuse my ignorance I'm new to this. |

Peppers can take a while. I have mine on the windowsill as well. It took more than two weeks for the first to come out. I will try some more in a heated propagator. |

I have had very slow germination times with two totally diffrent Pepper seeds, It's my first time with Pepper seeds and I was worried but they came-up in the end. The Tomatoes planted the same day are about 5" tall with multiple leaves while the Peppers are only 1.5" tall with onlt the first two leaves. You cant even feed them with a weak solution until they have thier second set of leaves. |

Glad they finally came up, I heard even the daffodils are 2 weeks behind where they would normally be due to the weather. Lets all just hope for a good summer now. _________________ Please excuse my ignorance I'm new to this. |
