typically patrick's day is the time the garden centres and other shops get stocked up for the gardening surge. i don't know if lidl follow that model. |

I'd have to second the Seedaholic suggestion, good prices and fast delivery. The website gives lots of info on each seed variety regarding when to sow, how best to prepare the site, when to harvest and in some cases info on companion planting which is nice for those who are interested in, or like myself just beginning to learn about the wonderful world of growing veg and companion planting. Also when you order seeds you'll receive a print out with all the details contained on the site related to the seeds you've purchased and best of all they're Irish.
As for seed potatoes they should be in most garden centers from the end of January. I was in Beech Vista garden center, Cold Winters just off the Ashbourne Road Finglas exit of M50 Dublin over the weekend and they should have them the last week in Jan, I'd imagine everywhere else is the same. |

I can't find the seed potatoes on Aldi's special offers page on their website but the seed packs are very good value. Has anyone had any experience with them and their quality? |

Lidl have seeds now. Last year I grew the courgettes that are like tennis balls. I grew them up a trellis and had loads. Got a new packet this week. 79cents. |
