Hi guys.
I've a pretty strong box plant that has grown all straggly and I've been meaning to attempt to take some cuttings from it with a while now. So whats the best way to propagate and when is the best time ? |

A good time to take cuttings of box is from now until the end of November in the open or cold frame. use either a heel or a straight cut across, length 4-6 inches (10-15 cms) and inserted half their length.

leave all the leaves on but press the cuttings well into the soil so that the cutting is in contact with the soil.
