Hi All hope to be if some use in the future, but as it's my first year to give it a go I probably won't have to much to say.

So far some sucess and some failure, But that is what it's all about. If it were right straight away there would be no fun.

First spuds gone which was down to only taking some advise. Should have read ALL the articles posted here, and watch for the warnings form met eirann.

Got my dad to help a little (advise only) so phyical side down to ourselver. Wife likes the flowers and I do the digging. Embarassed.

I've heard the saying that good advise is only useful if it's passed on. So to all who may help me thanks in advange, and all I hope I may be able to pass some useful info on when it works.

Welcome, Dave.......you'll be surprised how quickly your experience builds up and before too long, there will be some advice you can pass on to a newcomer! Good luck with your gardening.

Hi All,

Just wrote a long message and lost it!!! I'm based in Donegal, have been gardening for about 15 years and my main interest in veg growing.

Last week my potatoes and tomatoes got blight. The tomatoes came off worst and have been completely wiped out - the worst case I've seen so far.

Thanks for tips on morning watering and horse tail tea.
I look forward to exhanging lots of good info and advice with you all.

Moya
