| Welcome Mona, I've never grown cucunbers but I'm sure someone can help you in this forum, may need more info though, grown inside or outdoors, which variety etc. I have a realy good book from Homebase €10.00 The vegitable & herb expert by Dr D G Hessayon. it says a sudden drop in temperature or soil moisture and a sudden increase in sunshine or pruning are all common causes. hi mona
just new member myself. Your cucumbers are bitter because they were fertilized by male flower.
You can either remove all male flowers before fertilization takes place...you will see there will be no little bulb behind it. Or next year buy seeds which are all female..F1 hybrids. Polly |
