Hi,
Just a quick question, what is the best variety of carrot to sow now for Autumn or is it too late to sow now?
Thanks

Thanks for the replies, I had been thinking of the Autumn King myself so think I will order that. I can't remember what variety I had last year but I had no joy at all with them, complete disaster. |

I planted Nantes and early Nantes this year harvested some this week and there were bland and woody, i ended up juicing them up with apples from the garden... much nicer that way. |

I sowed three packs of various carrots including Nantes and have one feeble plant about an inch high from all of them. Disgusted. Think I'll try Autumn King too. |
