Is it because we didn't pick this strawberry sooner the reason for why it looks so angry?
It's so angry it's caused McAfee to sensor it on my computer _________________ www.gardening.ie |

We only needed the one strawberry for two packs of jelly....Didn't manage to get any myself. I was too slow to the fridge.
We got hold of some really good well rotted horse muck mixed with rotted bedding last year and added that to the soil... It was just like dark peat and really crumbly. It has suited most things...especially the courgettes, they are getting everywhere.

That's one funky looking berry alright.
No wonder Dutch strawberry farmers are buying in bee hives to ensure that their strawberry's are pollinated. |

It's not a new thing in our family, this giant fruit growing. Here are a couple of old images we found in our attic of grandad when he was set upon...
Harvesting time was always a bit of a challenge........

I think if your heart looked like that...you'd be angry _________________ There's no such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid person. |
