Hello,

My names Rob and I'm living in Co.Wicklow.
I'll be moving into a new house soon, so me and the other half have decided to start growing some of our own veg.
Prepare to be assaulted with about a million questions Very Happy

I haven't done this before, so there's a lot I don't know. Hopefully though, you guys will be able to help.

Hello Rob. Its a great new adventure you are setting out on. Keep us updated on the veg growing. Dont forget to put in a few fruit trees if you are not renting. the sooner in, the sooner they grow. Smile

Good luck Rob, we're only into our second full year in a new country garden, and nearly every day at this stage of the year we are eating something that is home-grown. Get your raspberry canes in and next year you'll have far tastier soft fruit than your supermarket has......and you won't be paying mad prices for a dozen berries either!

Thanks folks.
We were thinking of sticking in some fruit trees, but we're only renting at the moment. As soo as we buy a house though, we'll be planting fruit trees.

We bought loads of seeds to try. A few of them says on the packet "Easy to grow"....I'm probably gonna be the exception and prove them wrong Laughing
