Scented Orchid

I was in a bathroom in a business park and there was an Orchid in a small pot it had a lovely scent, it had dark red or maybe purple coloured flowers on it,
can anyone tell me what the likely name of it is, or recommend any strongly scented Orchids

It could be any of the 250,000 registered hybrids, or around 60,000 unregistered hybrids, do you have a description of the plant, did if have bulb-like growth or just fleshy-type leaves?

No leaves at all, just dark stick like wood with 5 or 6 like blooms, sorry for the bad description

I know nothing about orchids, Shamrock, but there are a lot of artificial flowers now in hotels etc, I sometimes have to touch the "leaves" of some very authentic-looking plants to be sure what they actually are, and that's why I asked that question ! No offence meant!

Well, we're getting into a possible Dendrobium type.
Ignore the flower colour and the "stick" colour, but did the "stick" look anything Like this? Also ignore the "stick" hanging, pretend it's upright in a pot Laughing

Are we getting close? Perhaps it was thinner or fatter?
