Lovely sunny morning in Dublin . There was very heavy rain last night which was badly needed and the water table is building up again . Congrats to Mayo on a fine win yesterday against the Dubs . It was a cracker of a match with both sides playing well and a pleasure to watch .

Sort of like an inebriated Kilkenny supporting bug GPI ! You're worse than the Gnome , I can't get any peace anywhere
This morning in Dublin started out a beautiful sunny day , I had to put a new floor in my tool shed so I emptied out everything to do the job ie new floor and new shelving inevitably we had one of those summer thunderstorms when everything was outside . Gotta be philosophical at times like this

Dry day here in Dublin , I finished the shed floor that I started yesterday and discovered during the heavy rain yesterday that the roof is leaking

You have probably all noticed already, but here goes...
Irish gardeners now has a two day weather forecast provided by the met office.......
You all can find it here http://www.gardenplansireland.com/forum/weather-report-ireland.php
A clickable link to the weather forcast is also present at the top of each page within IG.

Excellant new link GPI . I usually use Met Eireann for the weather as they are usually on the ball with their predictions . Last night in Dublin we had very heavy rain , to the point where the ground is very wet , still some heat in the weather so there is good grass growth , lots of grass cutting .

this is the met office today
Rain, heavy at times through the eastern half of the country. Brighter, drier weather with sunny spells and just a few showers in the west will extend eastwards to all areas during the afternoon. Breezy with top temperatures 17 to 19 C.
Its bucketing down here in Dublin so much so I can hardly see out the window

What a day here in Dublin temps reached 18 - 19 degrees , sunny with not a cloud in the sky , one of my maintenance jobs had 4 inches of grass growth in a week
