Hi everyone,
So one thing I learned this year was not to sow seeds before the soil is up to scratch. I put out quite a few packs but they're a dead loss and so yesterday I bought 3 sweetpea pots. There are four plants in each one, each wrapped around a cane that stands about 2ft high and I want to transplant them tom (and pass them off as mine). However, I'm not sure of the best way to do it.
Do I just replant them as I would a normal plant, leaving the canes, for them to continue growing on up? Some of them are already grown past the top. Or can I take the canes out and tie them in myself, I want to wrap them through the blackberry brambles? Will they tear them? Should I use a tree or a wall instead?
As always, any advice greatly appreciated.....
Thanks,
Sunflower |
