Been looking everywhere for a replacement handle for a slash hook, Kildare/ Dublin area, anyone got any suggestions, the kids in woodies and atlantic needed a picture to explain what i was looking for. then tried to give me a shovel handle.
any suggestions ? |

You need to go to a place that sells tools to farmers.

Yes I agree with Belfast. Farming coop would be a good start. Lakeland or town and county or is it town and country |

They might know somewhere that stocks them or even source one to fit...failing that it's time to start whittling....

There's a bloke here in Inishowen that will order and supply chillington stuff, sourced from the UK I think. Are they the same tools and franchised out to Irish shops?

Funny you should say that met a customer up in Cork today who was delighted to be buying two new items to replace the one he has had for the last 20 years. Still the original handle but the blade was down to half the original size. _________________ The Secret Garden Centre
