Beautiful Rose Garden where many photographers bring newly weds for pictures. My favourite part is the Millennium Arborteum, the mix of colours makes you feel it's all been digitally enhanced!
There is a 500m avenue of trees full of squirrels and it leads to a pond. I think the council could do a bit more with the pond as it tends to fill up with algae |

Theres also the rose festival in July, which is a lovely day out.
I noticed last week, they have dug the whole area up where the new bit was, the clontarf area, facing the sea.
does anyone know what they are doing there, they have also removed alot of the old walls and flattened everything? |

There was a second pond in that area with a fountain. It didn't get much visitors as it was a bit off the beaten track. My guess is the council filled it in to save on the maintenance fees? |

Thanks for that Steve,
Typical, as soon as i move out of Raheny (and the dublin city council area). They start thinking of allotments. I have wanted one for years.
although, thankfully i have the size in my back garden now to grow a few veg.
