Its a beautiful sunny Sunday morning here in Dublin , there is a lovely fresh breeze blowing , we are having a nice big Irish breakfast and then
what do gardeners do on their day off ? they have to do their own gardens

| It's a fresh day here on the outskirts of Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. Had a shower or two since 9am but right now the sun is shining and there's a slight wind. |

|

Well as I said it was changing between showery and sunny every hour or so.
But I'd heard that the Sawdoctors were playing a free outdoor gig in the newly revamped Eyre Square in Galway.
The Sawdoctors are a local band from Tuam with a big following.
Some people love them, some people hate them.
I happen to like them, so myself and herself decided to chance the weather and go.
It worked out well, we just got a few light drops of rain and the sawdoctors played a great set.
This is the boys pictured in Eyre square singing one of their most famous songs.... N17
Well I didn’t see much future
When I left the Christian brothers school
So i waved it goodbye with a wistful smile
And I left the girls of Tuam
Sometimes when I’m reminiscing
I see the prefabs and my old friends
And I know that they’ll be changed or gone
By the time I get home again.
And I wish I was on the n17
Stone walls and the grass is greener
Travelling with just my thoughts and dreams
Well the ould fella left me to shannon
Was the last time I traveled that road
And as we turned left at claregalway
I could feel a lump in my throat
As I pictured the thousands of times
That I traveled that well worn track
And I know that things will be different
If I ever decide to go back
Now as I tumble down highways
Or on filthy overcrowded trains
There’s no one to talk to in transit
So I sit there and daydream in vain
Behind all those muddled up problems
Of living on a foreign soil
I can still see the twists and the turns on the road
From the square to the town of the tribes _________________ If you benefited from irishgardeners.com, please link to us or tell others, so that the site can grow and benefit more gardeners.

| Temps rocketing up into the 100s here and no rain for several days. All creatures (me included) laying low in the coolest places we can find. |

About 15-16 degrees c here in the west.
Nice and cool (sorry Lilith).
Rain shower all day long, we needed them.
Quite breezy.
But will it be fine for the Galway races, thats the question. _________________ If you benefited from irishgardeners.com, please link to us or tell others, so that the site can grow and benefit more gardeners.

There are two horses running today you might be intrested in backing folks.
Keep an eye out for these horses ......... Hoof hearted & Ice melted.
On the weather front, here in the west it is about 13 to 14 degrees c.
Overcast and misting.
Very light breeze.
Oh by the way, I know nothing about horses or racing. The two tips I gave you were a joke. Try reading them over and over again very quickly....... _________________ If you benefited from irishgardeners.com, please link to us or tell others, so that the site can grow and benefit more gardeners.

Hehehe, and there was me going to the bookies to place a bet
Kilkenny is cool today, quite a bit of wind (not the type GPI wrote about), clouds and a bit o'sun in between.

Very calm.
Nothing to strenuous for me either today, just visiting some garden centres with herself.
Selecting plants for the major over-haul the front garden is about to recieve. _________________ If you benefited from irishgardeners.com, please link to us or tell others, so that the site can grow and benefit more gardeners.
