Hi folks, took me a few years to get my 2 wisterias to this point and now i have to move them, knocking the extension on my house. I was hoping to prune them back and replant them when the house is rebuilt, would anyone have any suggestions for that please, they would be pretty big to remove so id have to cut them back a lot id imagine, then they will have to be put back in several months most likely autumn/early winter.
When they do go back they will be growing on the edge of a tarmac lane, is it possible to plant them in such a way to force the roots deeper instead of spreading out so they dont eventually damage the lane? Thanks
