This is not animal or mineral.

It is vegetable.

But what is it?
Full latin or common name please.

Very very warm.
It is indeed a seed head where the seeds have flown away in the wind.
Not a dandelion ...but similar plant.
You are nearly there.

I am trying to show you that you do not need to go to a rare plant fair to set a challenge...just look round you...the natural world is amazing.

Zoom in on my pic..it is rather beautiful.

Eeeck! Just realise you took me literally with vegetable!
I am so sorry if I confused you Greengage.
You are probably too young to know what I am talking about.

I was quoting the Radio quiz game ...."20 Questions" from years ago..
Contestants had 20 questions to get to the answer.
1st question was always.....Animal, Vegetable or mineral?
Vegetable here in this instance means.... plants, trees, flowers, fungus, litchens, ....all growing things!
Not literally a vegetable.

Japanese anemone was taken to be a weed and removed completely. We were just interested in what it was.
