On a shopping spree for updoing my garden:
camelias 3 different colors
magnolias 2 - trying these for a second time as deer have made off with all other attempts. These plants root well from cuttings put in water. Am pining to get my hands on a yellow variety.
blue miniature rhodos - 5 for low border in the front for spring flowering May
hemiocalis - 5 different hybridized types because they are very easy to propagate for more plants. Good in the very dry patch as they don't do well in wet boggy.

Am looking for Prunus padus or bird cherry tree. Cannot find any from the online shops. Anyone have some recommendations? Otherwise have to use the UK.

Please let me know of any good online shop for what you're putting in.

Chopping down flags, and using their leathery leaves as base coat to inhibit weeds under rhodos and small shrubs.

If your really in kenmare you have the benefit of the gulf stream so you should be able to grow lots unless your in a very exposed location. Bird cherry should be easy to locate try future forest.
