It's only a gas to take out Ethylene. If you used it on your face, you wouldn't age (ripen) as fast and would look years younger when you're 80. Smile Smile

Mustard gas is 'only a gas', chlorine gas is 'only a gas'. If it's so safe why the haz mat suits?

Concentration, I suppose. It floats away up into space killing all those little extra terrestrials afterwards.

Seriously, I don't like the idea of it either but so much of nature is interfered with now. Sad Sad It's all down to economics.

I just wish organic stuff wasn't so dear but probably we'll have to bite the bullet (or carrot) and just buy organic now.

Yes, I agree KS but that doesn't mean we have to give in to it, roll over and accept the cxxp on offer. We buy organic as far as possible and yes it costs a little more ( though the prices are coming down), but because of that we are far more careful about what we buy and as a result throw less away.
