Hello all. My name is Alison and I have lived here for 10 years now. Since coming here I have had to re-learn all my gardening techniques, the climate here is just SO different. Just started growing in a polytunnel as well so more to learn; lashing with rain and still you have to water!

It's the nearest I'm likely to get to the real thing, Cooler. I live 700ft up a mountain and they don't tend to come that high. As a child we had a nest in our old water mill in Cornwall and I fell in love with them.

Ollie here, just joined here today.Love this site.Everyone,s so civilised here compared to other sites! Basically I have a mad garden but I LOVE it. Apart from all my plants and trees I have 2 torotises,1 cat and 1 little dog .Also a snake and goldfish and millions of slugs and snails .But we all get along fine.I cant use any kind of insectisides or weedkillers and spend half my time attacking weeds.
