recently I was given a few sprigs of spearmint, I popped them into water and left them ,a couple of weeks later they grew roots, looking for something to put them into to give to my daughter i found a couple of chipped mugs ready for the bin, so into the mugs they went and I was surprised how nice they looked, my daughter was delighted with hers and now I am looking for more chipped mugs or anything really that will hold a plant, I have been given a tray of 6 lavender plants a friend is not going to use, one of her impulse buys, I will keep a couple and give the rest away once potted up, I think I have found a new hobby searching charity shops for cheap unusual mugs etc

I have found that the art of gardening requires the infrastructure required to make things requires a certain eye to see a use for things that they were never intended to be used for. Otherwise everything would be so expensive. I have literally saved thousands over the years on what I have salvaged from building sites. _________________ “It’s my field. It’s my child. I nursed it.
