Ah now come on Blowin, would you really want to spend a week with four women catching up on YEARS of family info and gossip. Dave's head is in a spin already. Laughing
We are just having a snooze before we hit the pub.

.... and, behind every great man is a woman saying 'What did you do that for?' but, if Dave survives this, he'll be a better man than both of us, Tagwex.

He has done more than survive, he has really enjoyed himself. He doesn't know yet but they have bought him a thank you present for being our chauffeur. Very Happy

Early start tomorrow, then life gets back to normal.

Not departed as in passed on. I believe he is ill and has been for a while, that is what I gather from previous posts anyway.

You've all got me feeling guilty now! I've just been very busy and rarely seeing "reminder" emails, I just haven't visited the forum for ages.
So here's a quick update: no floods in Letterkenny, thank goodness, garden looking well. I will post some recent pics in due course. No veg at all this year for the first time in donkey's years - I've concentrated on getting (most of) the ornamental garden back into better shape after its health-related neglect the past while. On health, C has made a good recovery from surgery last May and hopes to go back to work soon. I'm no longer wearing a groove in the roads to Galway and Roscommon!
Now I'm beginning to plan renovations of some 'past it' bits of my borders for the autumn.
Right now I'm getting organised for my nephew's wedding in Canada next week - I will be away 13 days. Haven't been there in 20 years so I'm getting excited.

Jaaaysus will look at the pair that are back?
You have just reminded me GG that you pass by Geranimojess' house. Any chance of you calling in on the ould dear and see how he is. I remember that you were going to call in a couple of years ago but don't know whether you did or not.
