looks like pheasant berry, Leycestria formosa. can be a bit of a weed at times.

Agree Leycesteria formosa Himalayan honeysuckle Can be an Nuisance if it gets away.

Thanks to all for the input, this is growing in a garden in Wexford and its pruned to the ground regularly, only to put on a good 2 metres in growth in time.
