Hi, there's a triangular planted and mulched area in the corner of my garden. My question is, should I edge it, with wood posts, brick, stone, anything?

I feel like it will benefit by keeping mulch in and helping weeds and grass from creeping in. On the other hand, it would probably be somewhat expensive to buy materials and tools for and I'd have the effort of doing it myself.

Any advice appreciated!

What I did was set single concrete blocks on their long edge and plaster on top so it looked continuous with the top exactly the same height as the grass so their was no problem mowing.

Use bottles of different colours. Looks well too.
