Hi everyone, moved to a new place that had a garden planted not too long ago. I've added some plants to it, all to attract pollinators, and would like to care for it the best I can.

Can you help me identify some of the plants that were already there and that I don't know the IDs for? Any additional advice along with ID definitely welcome!

More than likely Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Tom Thumb', as it is quite commonly planted.

Silver surfer continues to amaze.

p.s. silver surfer, I remember you from a UK gardening forum, about 7 or 8 years ago. I can't even remember what the site is anymore. You were very helpful with IDs then too!

That is most kind of you. Thank you.
That would probably be the RHS forums...which I joined in 2008.

http://mygarden.rhs.org.uk/

A rubbish programme./very badly designed.... to put it bluntly.
Trying to add images was a nightmare for people trying to get plants id'd!
Rather than spend money to improve it/update it, sadly the RHS just allowed it to run down...until nobody used it any more and members drifted away to other forums...like this well run forum!
Apparently RHS has now gone on to Facebook... I refuse to get involved with Facebook.

As a long time member of the RHS I find it very sad.

I remember now, it wasn't a UK site at all, but UBC. I joined in 2009 but haven't posted there since 2014.
