Attached photo of a plant that is popping up all along our rural driveway. Is it a beneficial plant (and leave it in place)? Or is it an undesirable invasive one that should be removed? ID Please? Thanks.

Does it have square stems and do the leaves smell of anything? It looks like a member of the mint/deadnettle family, Labiatae.

It doesn't smell of much, but it does seem like it comes from the Lamiaceae family. At first I thought is was Ajuga, but it is quite bushy. So, not sure. Stems aren't perfectly round (not fully square either). I'll take some close-ups later. Thanks.

Can you add pics to this thread when it is taller./has flowers.
I cannot see enough detail from your general pic to be sure of a correct id.
