| I just bought 4 'son of thumb' fuchsia in Lidl,however the instructions are vague, I would appreciate advice on planting, how big will it grow, where to plant e.g against a fence or all together in open space. Cheers |

Some info on Fuchsia 'son of thumb' for you shefra
It has a compact, upright habit with Reddish pink flowers
Ultimate height and spread is 0.5 metres in 5 years
Plant outdoors in moist, fertile soil with shelter from cold winds in Partial Shade to Full Sun.
It will tolerate most soil types, but can be tender to frost
Cluster it in Beds and borders in a City or Cottage/Informal style
Also it is ideal for planting in Containers,
It can be attacked by Rust, Aphids, Capsid bugs and Vine weevil |

How come the wild fuchia's appear so resistant to the bugs mentioned? Or is that just a dumb question? |
