Super sour Gooseberry ideas please.

I just retrieved a couple of bags of red summer fruiting gooseberries from the freezer to make a crumble. They've had the same quantity of sugar to stop them taking the enamel off my teeth. There are still some more bags left....

That chutney sounds really good. A purée of gooseberries, slightly sweetened, goes very well with mackerel, I find.

Mix them with an appropriate amount of sugar to make a loose jam and use it in plain yoghurt. If you have to add a lot of sugar the yogurt will balance that out as well as softening the acidity.
