Happy New year all
We've had such a lovely sunny day I decided to have a constitutional round the garden. Picked a lovely bunch of winter honeysuckle, the perfume is gorgeous. I was surprised to see the daffodils in my front garden about 6 inches high. There was such a cold wind I went into the Polytunnel and I've got daffs in bud, can't believe it
Not a lot on the telly tonight other than Mrs Brown which I love. Must admit the Christmas telly programmes have been abysmal over the last week

Hope theres not been to many sore heads today

Happy New Year to all! I've weeded a bed, mulched rhubarb (yes, I know it's late!), pruned my gooseberry and heeled in five new plants that had self layered to pot up later. Primulas have self sown there as well (probably cowslips), so deciding where to move them to.

Morning all, and a Very Happy New Year!

Thought for today - if there is a 'health food' section in the local grocery store, what does that say about the rest of the food sold there? Shocked

No gardening today, off to Derry for the day. MUST order my seeds and tommy plants tonight. Usually have it done by now.

Did initial clearance in the pond, rescued a sarcococca and V. bodnattense from evergreen honeysuckle (which I want to get rid of, but was vetoed...) cut back enough V. opulus and Forscythia to be able to work. Too cold for weeding!

Checked into Irish Gardeners.com to see if there was anything interesting going on and tried to avoid posting on another what did you do today. Don't do it the last one had over 3000 posts lots of good threads lost there.

Sub division required? Somebody suggested sometime ago to do them monthly.

Monthly might be better so long as it sticks to gardening.

'What did you do today?' 'What did you do in the garden today?'

I'd happily contribute to both. Sometimes I just like to chat with folks who share some (if not all Laughing ) of my interests.

Then it's up to you to decide where you post.

It does if you don't read the ENTIRE post. I was asking a question - either one or the other OR BOTH! Hope that clears that up (yeh, as clear as mud Laughing )
