I'd like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas from me, OH and the kitties.

Have a lovely time folks and stay warm and safe in this horrible weather.

Here is a Happy Christmas to one and all from the Letterkenny branch. In lieu of a card or pic I am including a piece of slightly seasonal verse i wrote for our Writers's Group December meeting:

Fir trees

Four fine fir trees sit against the wall
One is a lodgepole much too tall

Second is a noble fir, graceful, straight
Third is a Sitka spruce its needle drop I hate

Fourth is a faux fir and that's the one for me
When festivities are over in the attic it will be

Not for it the shredder or a slow decline to rot
An everlasting Christmas tree that's the one I bought.

Have a good rest, everyone.

I want to wish all my virtual gardening buddies the very best of the seasonal greetings and a happy new year too. Thank you all for the entertainment during the year, I do enjoy the craic.

I am guessing you drew that yourself Sue but unlike all the great artistes you haven't signed your work.

GG? "Have a good rest". Are you joking? It is the busiest time of the year. Pure hectic here.

Ahhh it wasn't that bad. Best present I got was tickets for Croke Park. I get a stadium tour, entry to the museum and the sky walk around the roof of the stadium.

Well there you go then, that doesn't sound too shabby - if that's your 'thing'. Wink

Santa brought me a Kindle Fire. Great for the first two days, then, this morning BT's 'parental control' stepped in and I can't get IG or the other forum I'm on EVERYDAY! I'm now on my old laptop. OH thought he'd fixed the problem, but it's come back. Just too frustrated to do anything about it now.

Up until now parental control was just my mum saying 'it's raining, you'll need an umbrella' Rolling Eyes

When's your Croke Park trip?

I'll leave it until April or May. When the youngest son is on a break from Uni. I'll bring the two of them up to the big smoke for the day. My sister got me a few indoor plants from Woodies (last minute cheapies on Christmas eve as is her style). One of them is a Calathea which I hadn't heard of before. We will call into Ado afterwards!
You must have been looking up a few 'dodgy' sites for the PC to kick in!!!!!

I'm tempted to say something about cats but with it being the season of goodwill and all that I'll leave it alone!!!! Might explain the PC though.

Your views on cats are well known - and not worth repeating.
