Hopefully someone can tell me what I need to do to help my lovely hawthorn tree, this week I have noticed some very brown and brittle branches on my 3 year tree.
I have no idea what it is and Im not finding very much help on the web. Can someone advise or at least point me in the right direction - This is a lovely tree and I want to help it.
(forget how to post a picture, sorry)

Well, we can't help much without photos, or more details. How high is the tree, and where are the bare branches? You say "3 years old", but was that just how many years it has been in the ground? How is it staked? Is there any bark damage anywhere? Are there any weeds, including grass within 18 inches of the main stem? How much growth has it put on this year? etc. but ohotos would be best.
