You have a basket containing ten apples. You have ten friends, who each want an apple. You give each of your friends one apple.
Now all your friends have one apple each, yet there is an apple remaining in the basket. How come. Answer tomorrow.

Now all your friends have been given one apple each but there are only 9 apples now in total. How come?

Tagwex correct.

When asked about his birthday, a man said:
"The day before yesterday I was only 25 and next year I will turn 28."
This is true only one day in a year - when was he born?

I think I will wait for the maths professor to come back with the answer, no disrespect meant but your maths knowledge, and by your own admission, has been proven to be, shall we say, weak on here a few times!!!!!!!

I started off looking at leap years, then other countries calenders and got nowhere so I went back to the turn of the year and somehow made sense of it I think, I hope.
