When I went down to feed the fish this morning this water lily was still a tight bud. When I went back later in the day it had sprung open, pop!

The lily and my fish 2 Koi and and one blue orfe (I lost the other last week, don't know why)

The stream is starting to look quite natural now. I am really pleased with it!

The last two are taken from the same spot. One - last year's project, the other - next year's project?

Ooh and a couple of shots of my friend's garden. We are waiting to see who bought the hotel!

Don't laugh - A Midsummer Night's Dream meets Lord of the Rings. I said DON'T LAUGH!

A collection of 'magical' and 'mythical' plants. Plants with stories.

Thanks KS. That big fern is the only original plant (apart from the trees) in that garden. I am so pleased we were able to save it. The ferns in the woodland photo are all self sown.

I want to add to this woodland to create the new garden. I already have bluebells, honeysuckle and some (ancient) apple trees.

Tagwex - I might have known..... They all laughed at Christopher Columbus ....

Ahhh but our very own St. Brendan, from this very isle, the southern end of it, beat Columbus by several hundred years.

Yeh, but he doesn't get a mention in the song, and even so I bet some laughed at him.
