Once again the Telegraph have won best in the show. Why is it the judges always go for wood, concrete etc. Not my idea of a beautiful garden.

What Margo? You've no twirling topiary balls in your garden? Smile Smile Smile

I loved Cleve West's garden, but then I know Exmoor and Porlock and love them to bits. Some folks said they didn't understand the connection, but it bought back very many lovely memories of a beautiful corner of the world.

I thought the 'People's Choice' garden had too much stone and not enough plants and the Gothic arch on it's side really irritated me. The Telegraph garden was the same, too much stone and what on earth were those thumping great triangles supposed to be?

I did like Jekka McVicar's herb garden.

As for Gavin's twirling trees, Aaagh!

What does everyone else think? What were your favourites and who gets the raspberries?

Hampton Court next week - anybody would think I liked gardens. Very Happy
