Both interesting articles, thanks. I heard about the slugs on the radio too.
If that isn't bad enough, I think it is going to be a bad year for vine weevils (bad in the sense that there are tonnes already).
I've just dosed the strawberries and the primulas around the pond with nematodes and the heucheras with Provado. _________________ Be humble, for you are made of earth

A lot of harmful gardening chemicals are being removed recently and I hear that those deadly blue slug pellets are next to go.I don't use any chemicals in my garden I used Nematodes last year and I am going to do it again this year. |
